Keith Richards, Eric Clapton and Buddy Guy to play charity concert in honour of Hubert Sumlin
Hubert Sumlin, best known as the guitarist for Howlin' Wolf, died last year at the age of 80. On February 24th an all-star line up, including Keith Richards, Eric Clapton and Buddy Guy will be playing to raise money for the Jazz Foundation of America in the Apollo Theatre, New York. The show is to be entitled 'Howlin' for Hubert'.

Mick Taylor to unveil his new band
In an interview with the Perthshire Advertiser, Mick Tyalor has said that he is putting his health problems aside and is ready to unveil his new band at the Fifestock event, his only Scottish date.

Rolling Stones release another archived live album
The Rolling Stones have released a second live album to their Rolling Stones archive. The website will eventually offer a range of previously bootlegged Rolling Stones collections, and was launched in November. The new album was recorded on December 18th, 1981, at the Hampton Coliseum in Hampton, Virginia, as part of their American tour to support their 1981 studio album, Tattoo You.

Women's rights campaigners pressure lip-shaped urinals to be removed from Rolling Stones museum
Women in the German town of Luchow have expressed their dissatisfaction at the urinals in a Rolling Stones museum's men's toilets, which are indicative of the Stones's tongue logo, but are more feminine and lack the iconic sticking-out tongue.

Mick Jagger pulls out of political event hosted by Prime Minister
Mick Jagger has pulled out of an event hosted by British Prime Minister David Cameron, complaining that he was being used as a 'political football'. The event was to be hosted at the Davos Summit as part of a campaign to promote Britain.

Rolling Stones launch new bootleg website and store
The Rolling Stones have launched a new website where fans can read up on various bootlegs (though so far just one has been uploaded) and purchase them on their 'Stones Archive Store'. Stonesarchive.com went live today, and the famous bootleg 'The Brussels Affair' is available for purchase at $7.00.

Three of the Stones meeting up to practice

A previously unheard and recently remastered Rolling Stones track, 'No Spare Parts', to be released on the forthcoming re-issue of their 1978 studio album, Some Girls, has surfaced on the internet.
