Hubert Sumlin, best known as the guitarist for Howlin' Wolf, died last year at the age of 80. On February 24th an all-star line up, including Keith Richards, Eric Clapton and Buddy Guy will be playing to raise money for the Jazz Foundation of America in the Apollo Theatre, New York. The show is to be entitled 'Howlin' for Hubert'.

Mick Jagger has pulled out of an event hosted by British Prime Minister David Cameron, complaining that he was being used as a 'political football'. The event was to be hosted at the Davos Summit as part of a campaign to promote Britain.

Mick Jagger is set to produce and star in a movie through his company Jagged Films. Josh Olsen, writer of "A History of Violence" will write the script of the film named "Tabloid" which will see Mick playing a media mogul of a newspaper firm.

In an interview with The Times, Mick Jagger has said that he has no plans of writing an autobiography. Rumours surfaced last October that Mick had his own memoirs in the works to lash back at the insults thrown at him by bandmate Keith Richards in his autobiography, "Life". Read on for more! Keith Richards has revealed that his book, "Life", is to be made into a film. Of finding an actor to play him he said, "There are feelers out at the minute [but] Im in no rush right at the moment. Also, how are they going to find me? The idea of a succession of Keith Richards coming down is horrifying."

Director and programme controller of the Isle of Wight's Angel Radio, Bev Webster, could not believe it when the radio's transmitter was struck by lightning back in July. Imagine her surprise when she realised that the kind saviour donating £3,000 to save the station was none other than the rockstar legend, Keith Richards.

Keith Richards' autobiography, "Life", which came out last October, has sold over 1 million copies. Brown & Co. publisher Michael Pietsch said, "Hail to the Keef!" in a statement issued by the company, noting that Keith's memoirs are among the biggest selling rock n' roll autobiographies in history.

Chuck Leavell has told the New York Post that the rocky relationship between Mick Jagger and Keith Richards, which has lasted since their big row in the 80s, is a 'healthy tension'. "I think that's part of the Rolling Stones. If it was all flowers and kisses, then I think it would be boring", he said. "They could have broken up many times throughout their career."

The forthcoming second single from Mick Jagger's new project, SuperHeavy, called 'Satyameva Jayate', sees Mick singing in the historical Hindu language of Sanskrit. Oscar winning A.R. Rahman, who is Indian, composed the track.
