Ronnie Wood has revealed to the Sun newspapers that the Stones may have something special planned for October/November of this year. Speaking earlier this week, he said, "It looks like we are going to be doing more stuff. I am keeping October/November free, thatÂ’s what I've been told. I'm just awaiting more information." The Stones have recently been rumoured to be rehearsing in New York, where Mick Jagger will also be hosting Saturday Night Live on Saturday 19th May.

Will the band be recording new material? Not according to Ronnie: "New ones? Are you joking? We are familiarising ourselves with our back catalogue and have only scratched the surface."

Would you prefer a new album and a small tour or one huge tour?
